Brand new for 2012, the Tiera range from Proflow is stylish, modern and affordable. The waterfall spout gives it a modern twist that normally wouldn’t be found at this price. Our opinion is that this will be one of our bestselling ranges in the months to come – this is an ultra-stylish tap range that has looks that won’t date.

Features:

• Proflow taps are manufactured by Crosswater Holdings, a renowned bathroom brand with many years of experience. As such they are very high quality, with excellent flow rates and quality chrome-plating.
• Chrome plated
• Solid brass bodies with zinc cast handles (not ABS plastic like some cheap taps!)
• Ceramic disc cartridge
•  Suitable for high pressure water systems (we recommend a min. of 1 bar)

Flow Rates:

• 0.2 bar – 9.4 litres per minute
• 0.5 bar – 11.6 litres per minute
• 1 bar – 17.8 litres per minute
• 2 bar – 28.2 litres per minute
• 3 bar – 32.8 litres per minute

To put this in perspective, an 18 litre flow per minute is considered reasonable for bath taps, meaning it will take about 5-10 minutes to fill a standard sized bath to its usable level. You can use this tap on low pressure systems with 0.2 bar or above, but the time it takes to fill your bath will be longer, so we recommend 1 bar +.
